Has over 30 years’ experience (local and international) in both medium and large organisations, in which he provided financial leadership to various management teams and served on a number of boards, and currently over 10 years’ experience within the SME environment of South Africa.
With strong experience in company valuations and operational finance, Gavin now manages financial and taxation services to business and professionals, both nationally and internationally, as Financial Director of the FinSolve Group of companies.
Ruzel van Jaarsveld
Ruzel has over 26 years financial and bookkeeping experience, working with many industries and corporate environments, with extensive knowledge and practical application of trial balance, payroll, VAT, PAYE returns, Inventory control, Management Accounts, E-filing and Procedures of Importing and Exporting.
Ruzel is a seasoned appointed facilitator with Biz Facility, and for numerous years has been presenting various national practical financial workshops to business owners and corporate financial staff.
Galanies Vonofakidis
Galanies serves as the Head of Taxation at The Finsolve Group and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences in Taxation through UNISA, further strengthening her academic foundation in the field.
She brings a wealth of experience in the financial industry, with a strong focus on taxation across a wide range of areas. In her current role, she is responsible for overseeing key tax functions and providing strategic insight, demonstrating both technical expertise and practical application.
Galanies is passionate about sharing her knowledge and is committed to empowering others through engaging and accessible virtual training sessions.
Nateshia Michaels
Nateshia Michaels is the Bookkeeping Manager at the Finsolve Group, where she oversees a dedicated team providing clients with accurate, efficient, and compliant financial record keeping.
With extensive experience in bookkeeping and financial management, Nateshia brings both technical expertise and a passion for helping businesses stay financially organised. Her hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure that clients receive practical solutions tailored to their needs. Nateshia is committed to sharing her knowledge to empower others in understanding the fundamentals of sound financial management.
Melissa Lourens
Melissa Lourens is a seasoned tax administrator with over 15 years of experience in the tax field, with extensive experience in managing tax-related processes and ensuring compliance.
She completed her Registered Financial Planning 2 Diploma through UNISA in 2010 and has a passion for tax and accounting.
Michelle Brijcoomar
Michelle is a Tax Administrator at Finsolve Accounting and Taxation Solutions in Durbanville. She holds a Certificate in Taxation from UNISA and has worked in the tax and accounting industry since 2013, gaining experience in bookkeeping, VAT, PAYE, CIPC compliance, SARS compliance, and taxation.
Michelle has a natural knack for numbers and a genuine passion for her work. She enjoys helping others make sense of tax in a simple, practical way and loves sharing her knowledge.
Jade Theart
Jade is an admitted attorney with over 10 years of post-qualification experience in law, specialising in estate planning, deceased estate administration, property law, and contractual law.
In the area of estate planning, Jade provides comprehensive legal support, including the drafting and reviewing of last wills and testaments and related estate planning instruments.
She is experienced in the administration of deceased estates ensuring compliance, efficiency, and sensitivity in managing the wishes of the deceased and the rights of beneficiaries. Jade’s professionalism, attention to detail, and client-focused approach plays an integral role in delivering high-quality legal services within the Finsolve group.
Sunel Botha
Sunel is a professional accountant with extensive experience in South African tax laws, IFRS for SMEs, and financial reporting standards. She holds a B(Acc) degree from the University of Stellenbosch, where she graduated in 2018, and has since built a strong reputation for her practical insight and commitment to financial excellence.
Based in Cape Town, Sunel combines her technical expertise with a passion for continuous learning and helping others navigate the complexities of accounting and tax compliance. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys spending time gaming, exploring the vibrant sights and culture of Cape Town with her husband, and unwinding at home with their beloved cat.
Natalie Long
Natalie has over 22 years of bookkeeping experience both locally and internationally. Having attended Rosebank College, where she studied through the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB), Natalie’s passion for numbers and financial systems has been a constant driving force in her career.
Throughout her extensive career, Natalie has had the privilege of working in both medium and large organisations, taking on leadership roles that have helped her shape a deep understanding of business operations and financial management.
At Finsolve, Natalie’s dedication and wealth of experience make her a key member of the team, committed to providing meticulous, efficient bookkeeping services to clients. Whether working on local or international projects, her passion for bookkeeping shines through, and her leadership experience continues to guide the success of her work.
Erika Conradie
With her extensive experience in CIPC Maintenance, Registrations, Annual Returns and Beneficial Ownerships, Erika is the Tax and Secretarial Administrator of the Finsolve Group, and provides this service to over 500 clients of the Finsolve Group.
Erika has 15 years’ experience in CIPC Maintenance, Registrations and Annual Returns.”
Melanie de Swardt
Melanie has been the Client Liaison Manager for Finsolve Solutions for the past 10 years. She is very passionate about Entrepreneurs as she believes small to medium businesses to be the future of SA.
Alongside the Finsolve Financial Director, Melanie has consulted with & onboarded many SME clients and holds extensive knowledge of their challenges as well as the pitfalls of running a small business.
She looks forward to sharing this to enable small business owners to focus on growth while remaining financially sound & compliant.
